Mika Järvinen works as a Professor at Aalto University in Department of Mechanical engineering, in the School of Engineering. He works on many applications including waste and plastics utilization, carbon capture, storage and utilization (CCUS), Power2X concepts and circular economy. Järvinen also leads three Energy Master’s programs in Aalto university and he is a passioned teacher, especially on renewable energy. Järvinen received Caltech’s Resonate Award in 2015 and he has extensive experience in scientific leadership.
Markus Preißinger is head of research at FHV – Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences. He is also head of the research center energy, the Josef Ressel Center for Intelligent Thermal Energy System and holds the illwerke vkw endowed professorship for energy efficiency. He sees himself as mentor for young scientist helping them to find and go their way in research and development on energy related topics.
Risto Lintur's central research area is radical technology and its social effects. His most recent report, Towards a Better Future! is published by the Parliament's future committee and focuses on solving the problems of sustainable development and the role of technological development from the perspectives of all 17 UN sustainable development goals. Linturi has launched several projects that have received extensive international attention.
Restaurant Vanha Värjari is responsible for the FRUSH lunch buffet. The buffet is self-funded.

Toni is a shareholder and chief operating officer of Wega Group, before moving to Wega in spring 2020, Toni served as the CEO of Fennovoima for five years, and in addition, his work history has been accumulated from, for example, Rautaruukki, where he worked in the group's management team as strategy, technology, energy and environment manager and on the boards of several energy companies .
